So Katy and I got a nice sewing machine for Christmas from my parents this year. To be honest, I think that I was more excited about it than she was.

My latest obsession has been with old science/math stuff. A while back, I purchased a Taylor Stormoguide from an antique mall for $17. The problem was that the temperature and humidity readings were off, the barometer didn't seem to be working at all and the finish on the wood was a somewhat tacky yellowish lacquer deal. After trying for a few weeks to track down someone that recalibrates these types of things to no avail, I decided that since it was only $17, I would give it a crack myself. Here's what it looked like.

So Lifehacker posted a nice little mini review of the best FTP clients for Windows. While they probably know their viewers better than anyone, the sad thing is that this article should probably have an explanation about what FTP actually is.

So a while back, Katy and I went hiking with Lily in Hueston Woods State Park, which is a couple of miles down the road from our house. We came across Cedar Fall Trail and it's really beautiful.
